We hope everyone is doing well even in the Covid-19 disaster.
Today, we would like to inform you of some changes to this year’s schedule of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Headquarters.
Considering the current status in Japan and overseas about Covid-19 such as lockdown, immigration restrictions, the spread of vaccines and future plans, we have reached the conclusion that it will be difficult within this year to hold events which will gather many students in one place from other countries.
Therefore, unfortunately, we will postpone the following scheduled events to next year.
Slovakia Seminar
(Before change) April-May 2021
(After change) April-May 2022 (Detailed date TBD)
Katsuura Camp and the 65th Headquarters Demonstration
(Before Change) August 2021
(After Change) August 7-14, 2022 (Already reserved)
However, the situation is different from last year’s postponement. This year, due to the spread of vaccines, the situation is gradually heading toward normalization. Therefore, let’s think that this year is not the “year of patience” but the “year of preparation” for the wonderful reunion and joint practice next year.
The headquarters will continue to support the activities of each branch and study group through online seminars on the second Sunday of every month, online meetings and various communications.
